In parallel to the Annual Meeting of the BRICS Network University (BRICS NU) – Economics, the University of Campinas held the 1stBRICS NU Winter School, from Aug 5th to 9th, 2019. This Winter School involved scholars and students from 23 different nationalities, creating an ambiance of very interesting and stimulating debates. It consisted of 2 Keynote Speeches, 14 Lectures, a Research Seminar and a Field Visit. The Institute of Economics – Unicamp make available here the Keynote Speeches and some of the Lectures. This Keynote – The BRICS process and the financing mechanism created by the group: NDB and CRA | Prof. Paulo Nogueira Batista Jr. (former Vice-president of the NDB and former Executive Director of the IMF).
